A message from our patron
“When young people start to work as volunteers things really happen. The motivation of those involved in SKIP is an inspiration - they are healthcare students who are giving of their own time and effort to improve the situation for children in different parts of the world.
Children are at the beginning of their lives and are hugely influenced by all they experience - through SKIP some children have experienced affirmation and warmth in their lives for the first time. These students, through their projects, are working to improve the world and they deserve to succeed.”
Professor Baroness Ilora Finlay, 2009.
